What clients ask first
How long do I have to file the amparo?
The general rule is fifteen business days from the moment notification takes effect, with exceptions that extend or shorten that term depending on the subject matter. That is why the first thing we check is the exact notification date.
Does the amparo stop the authority\u2019s act?
Not automatically. The stay is requested with the claim and the judge rules first provisionally and then definitively. We prepare it with the same care as the claim itself.
Can you take on a matter started by another firm?
Yes. We review the file, identify what can be corrected at the next instance and tell you frankly whether it is worth continuing.
