A significant share of our matters comes by referral from accountants, consultants, notaries and other lawyers. When a legal problem goes beyond the usual scope of the trusted adviser, we take on the strategy and the legal work without displacing the professional relationship that produced the referral.
From the outset we set the scope of our involvement, who is responsible for the matter and the channel of communication. We can deal with the client directly or work through the referring professional, whichever suits and is authorised.

A referral does not mean taking over your client relationship. We keep our engagement clearly bounded and keep the referring professional informed, always with the client's authorisation.
Direct coordination
Each matter has a lawyer in charge and a clear channel of communication. When the strategy requires tax, accounting, notarial or technical input, we work alongside the client's own advisers.
Multidisciplinary coverage
Amparo, criminal, civil, commercial, real estate, family and estates, corporate, employment, administrative and compliance, bringing in specialists when the matter calls for it.

Will you take over my relationship with the client?
No. Our scope is set out in writing. We respect the existing professional relationship, and any additional need is raised openly.
Can we work on the strategy together?
Yes. In many matters the legal answer depends on understanding the business, the accounts, the contractual history or the asset structure. Coordination between specialists usually improves the quality of the decision.
How are fees and participation agreed?
Scope and fees are agreed in writing before we start. Any professional collaboration arrangement is agreed expressly, transparently and according to the nature of the matter.
